Overview

Inventory Controller / Clerk Boksburg Johannesburg Gauteng

Our manufacturing client in Boksburg Johannesburg is looking for an Inventory Controller / Inventory Clerk will be responsible for tracking, recording, and managing stock levels within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must have prior experience in manufacturing inventory control and working knowledge of the Evolution accounting system.

Salary R 15000 - R 18000 CTC

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (relevant tertiary qualification advantageous)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an inventory control role within the manufacturing industry (non-negotiable)

Experience working on the Evolution accounting system (non-negotiable)

Basic understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs)

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Receive, count, and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and invoices.

Maintain accurate stock records on Evolution

Record inventory movements accurately in the inventory system

Assist with stock takes and cycle counts

Ensure correct storage, labelling, and organisation of inventory

Work closely with procurement, warehouse and operations teams.

Investigate and report stock discrepancies/variances

Issue stock to departments as required and maintain records

Generate inventory reports as required by management
