Bookkeeper Montague Gardens Milnerton Cape Town

Our retail / distribution products client in Montague Gardens Milnerton Cape town seeks the expertise of a bookkeeper. Full Bookkeeping function including small payroll 40 on Pastel Payroll Pastel. You need a qualification and 5 years’ experience.

Salary: Market related

Minimum Requirements:

Matric with relevant Diploma/Degree in Bookkeeping/Accounting

5+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper within a Manufacturing Retail Packaging Distribution Imports and exports Products Industry

Dealing with imports and exports agencies an added bonus

Experience with Sage Accounting and Pastel Payroll essential

Excellent in Excel

Must have SARS loading and Submission abilities and experience

Payroll of permanents and wages essential

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping up to Trial balance / Balance Sheet on SAGE

Manage 2 clerks in the finance department – report to Finance Manager

Full Debits & Creditors Functions

Full Payroll (30-40 staff) Pastel / Sage Payroll

Full Recons of all accounts

Manage and monitor experiences like fuel and others

\VAT calculations, recons and SARS submission of VAT

SARS submission of EMP201/EMP501/IRP5/VAT201

Dealing with outsourced accounting firm to assist with SARS

Assist with Audits and financial reporting
