Overview

Financial Accountant Plattekloof Cape Town

Our FMCG/Retail Client is looking for a Financial Accountant with 5 years plus experience within the financial accounting industry. You will do the full financial accounting, payroll and reporting functions. You will also management of month-end processes, payroll administration, budgeting, forecasting, fixed assets and intercompany transactions. SAIPA Professional Accountant designation or completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.

Salary up to R 600 000

Min Requirements

BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification.

SAIPA Professional Accountant designation or completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.

Minimum 5 years plus total years' experience in a financial accounting environment.

Experience in Retail, fmcg, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

Month-end and year-end reporting

Payroll 30 staff

VAT and statutory compliance

Budgeting and forecasting

Fixed asset accounting & Audit preparation

ERP experience, specifically SYSPRO, advantageous.

Payroll system experience, specifically SAGE300 People, advantageous.

Financial Accounting and General Ledger

Financial reporting and analysis.

Month-End and Management Reporting

Strong understanding of IFRS.

SARS eFiling and statutory reporting experience.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable

Cashbook and Treasury Management

Taxation and Statutory Compliance
